Buying Wholesale through eBay to resell is as simple as buying and selling any other item.
Much of the wholesale stock in these categories is sold by people who may not have the time or effort to list each item separately, they may need some quick cash or simply having a stock clearout to make way for new products.
It is worth bearing in mind that if you plan to resell the job-lot of items you have just bought, the purchase will be on your feedback list - potential buyers will see how much you paid for them!!
Therefore it is almost a necessity to create a second eBay ID for buying bulk stock. This account can be linked to the same name & address, bank & Paypal account as your main selling ID without any problems. If you default on one account however, eBay will normally suspend all accounts that they link together.

When making purchases, always check to see how much the items are selling for elsewhere on eBay, and also how much P&P is charged on them.
Some wholesale lots will be collection only due to size or weight, whereas others may be relatively cost effective if the seller is a high volume trader who enjoys cheap courier rates. You will have to cover these postage costs when calculating your selling price.
Remember to factor in selling costs, such as Insertion fees, Listing Upgrades, Final Value Fees and Paypal Fees. Establish your post and packing costs - stamps, bubble-wrap, padded envelopes etc, to find the actual cost per item.
